Iran_Iraq_nukes
Just got through reading an article that Iran already wants exemption with the EU so it can keep "testing" nuclear centrifuges.
I understand partly where Tehran is coming from. Nuclear energy can be an alternative fuel and energy supply but you have to admit that all this nuke talk can get you a little balled up with anger inside.
I'm not one of those media induced paranoia types, but I do fear this type of power in the wrong hands. Iran and Terrorism is no new subject and we already know how they feel about the European culture of "infantiles." I would probable feel the same way if in their shoes.
Than you have Iraq, I don't support that war in the slightest bit. There were, and the US/British knew that there were no nuclear weapons in Iraq. Maybe it was oil. Oil prices jumped over a dollar as soon as George Bush was re-elected. Maybe it was some old family matters that Bushes daddy didn't settle in the Gulf War. Or... Maybe the intentions really were good. After all the war has claimed thousands of Iraqi lives, that's got to count for something right? If you said yeah, go fuck yourself. No life is expendable!
Whatever the reasons I thank that North Korea really is a bigger threat. I have a friend stationed in Korea, I can't find anything to prove or disprove this, but he says they were told if North Korea came across the border they would occupy all of South Korea in a matter of three days, it would take over a week to get US reinforcements in place. We already know that North Korea has at least three Nuclear warheads capable of reaching San Francisco California population in the near millions. But we keep falling back on our talks of peace with them. And for those that don't already know, the war in the 1950's was not ever declared over, only a peace treaty was signed. And North Korea has a way of backing out of those.
Who's the biggest threat: Iran/ Iraq/ The Middle East, North Korea, or is just Nuclear Weapons in general. Let's get rid of all the damn things than they'll be no problems with one country wanting them because the other has them.
