ipod

So everyone wants to get at an ipod thing. Some just in differnet ways. Read this either for a laugh or some education into the world of protesting stuff.

No WMD's

Why does this one not come as a surprise. Well! Maybe because the World already knew that ABC News. But ha, it's always educational to read the late breaking news story of the day... right?

can't think of a title

Sorry to all my millions of viewers out there for not posting much lately. Been out looking for jobs most of the day and praying to any God I think will listen, all night. I can't believe how hard it's gotten to find a job now-a-days. I remember four/five years ago I could leave the house at 8am and have a job by noon and be working that night. What the hell has changed?

In other news not so somber: I've been wanting to move from blogger (not because I"m unhappy -just want a site of my own) but never could find something with php and mysql support -that was FREE. Than I heard about this freehosting123 thing. It turned out to be one of those invite only things. Well, these fuckers are greedy as hell with their invites. Folks want you to buy a "free" invite. Yeah! Go fuck yourself sweetpea.

So I got to looking around a couple of days ago...oh boy! did I ever find a good one folks. If you're looking for a FREE web hosting that has php, mysql, asp.net, pearl, cgi, ftp cpanel access...etc etc, you need to check this place out.

The only catch is you have to post on the forum. Each post earns you so many (what is referred to as PBPP "pay-by-post point") points, which you cash in to pay for your site. Not a problem though, listen to me on this -In the first hour I had half of what it would take to get the smallest package 100mb space 2gb trans, and their packages go up to 10gb space 100gb trans. You got all month to earn your points. No worries, to easy.

You ready for it...

Do you really want to see it?

Well, ok if you don't I wont share it with you than.

Oh, you do..

lifelesspeople.com

And here's a list of their services.

I'm pretty stoked about it. Nice place. Now if I could find a J-O-B before I go broke I'd be in great shape.

a small victory

The US appeals court has ruled that ISP (Internet Service Providers) do not have to reveal the indenty of users that "Illegelly" download copywrite material. Now these knuckleheads have to spend a little bit of money to find us. Ha ha ha!

It seems Germany and Australia have the biggest hearts of the world. But The United States still has the biggest Military. That's gotta' count for something, right?

Something is wrong with my internet connection today. I've got about five 404's in the past hour. Mozilla better get her shit together or I'm trading her out for Firefox. Hehehe Never! I love my baby, but something is up. It could, but I doubt it, have something to do with the 32 oz coffee that I spilt all over my keyboard and box. Nothing got inside my box, but my keyboard, is well, I think it's ruined. The 'M', 'S' and 'E' keys require that I pound on them with a hammer. Man, I mean -this is only like the 30th time I done that. You would think they could build stuff better. :)

Orkut is still down. Bummer! Wonder what their (google) are doing? I'm impatient. I think I need to go get another keyboard.

This isn't a bad little story here. Maybe you'll see it as some kinda' weird parable or something. Hope you enjoy.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I woke up this morning to a voice in my head. First thought: God, is that you?

"You no pay rent!"

Wow? God's a Chinaman. I guess Rev Sun Moony really is God after all. There's nothing else to say to God but, "Huh?"

"You rent late tree day. No pay day -I throw no work bum ass out on 'treet."

I can hear the clang of last nights four six packs empty beer bottles being cautiously inspected on the aluminum card table of dinner plates six weeks in mold mildew caked grease that would give a sink full of Dawn a good run for its advertising motto.

"No do nothin but drink -all time. die liver sickness. but you pay rent first."

My head still buried in the cozy warmth of yellow sweat spit stained pillow hoping on dreams carrying me away from such demanding homage due. Brain fuzzed in hang-over kaleidoscope blurred daze fighting against the rapture tugging at the sheets so pleasantly cocooned around my body.

"Wake-up! Day outside. Drink all night. Sleep all day. No pay rent when 'pose to..."

The rapture tugs at sheets -I tug back quickly growing tired of the tug-a-war of my soul between angels and devils wrestling for my devotion as mythical skirmishing between Good vs Evil continue with this Corporate warfare of battlefields in my head. Annoyance! Perturbed! "AHhhh" Popping up out of bed, hair tangled in mated grease and mange, I scream at God, yank a handful of bills from my pants pocket telling him to just take the dues and leave me alone.

Crowdly from behind the chair he holds lion-tamer style in mid air he takes the money telling me what I already know: "U crazy. Mind backed from too much takn' drugs." and exits leaving me to once again loath within my dreamland.

Orkut gmail invites

I got into orkut this weekend. Man, been roaming around that place for awhile. I... I honestly don't know how to explain it beyond the fact that it kicks ass in a major way. I wasn't even finished signing up and was already building a network with folks.

Me, I'm a internet junkie. Whether it be irc, im, Jabber, blog, or forums -I like to met new folks and chat with them, and orkut makes it easy to do just that. You have a Friends list and a Community list. The Friends list is just that, your friends. The community is kinda' like Yahoo's groups but with a forum posting ability twist. When you make a new friend you're also networked with their friends, so in making one friend you get connected to a lot of others. You can (as I mentioned) post on the community boards, send messages to your friends, IM and things like that. It's all free and no strings attached.

But google/orkut is pretty stern. You can't pretend to be someone your not, meaning you MUST list your real name and place you live. If you show a photo it has to be of YOU, not kids, pets, or something. Those things will get you kicked off.

The bad thing is orkut is beta. That means that the server goes done in the least opportune times, so you have to be prepared for the "bad, bad server" message. That all is suppose to stop this month. It's worth it and was worth the begging and pleading to get in.

As for invites, I still have some gmail invites. As for orkut... Post a message on here and we'll talk a little first. It's worth it.
